Patricia Smith Hoffman, a veteran real estate broker, has been actively engaged in real estate in the Rocky Mountain Region of the U.S. for over 35 years. Raised on ranches in the Midwest, Pat is a strong believer in excellence and keeps abreast of the ever-changing world of real estate through education and has had an active involvement in the local, state and national realtor associations over the years.
Pat’s early career began in Business Management and Accounting. For over 30 years, she has owned/or managed real estate firms specializing in Farm, Ranch, Resort and Recreational brokerage, with extensive experience in residential, commercial, land development and new construction. Over the years, Pat has also owned and operated businesses including log home construction, motel, convenience store, insurance agency, ranch and retreat center.
Pat originally earned her real estate license in Wyoming in 1978 and later in 1987 obtained her Montana Broker’s license. She has subsequently earned real estate designations through the National Asociation of Realtors Institutes and Affiliates, as follow:
– GRI: Graduate of Realtors Institute
– ALC: Accredited Land Consultant
– CIPS: Certified International Property Specialist
– RSPS: Resort and Second Home Property Specialist
Pat’s professional service to various real estate associations include nearly 30 years active service in local, State and National Associations of Realtors and the Realtors Land Institute, holding numerous offices and chairing committees, including but not limited to, Tri-County Board President, Vice President and Secretary, named Realtor of the Year twice, State Executive Committee, State Strategic Planning Committee and Regional VP for the Wyoming Association of Realtors. Pat served the Realtors Land Institute as National Membership Chairman, Regional Vice President for 4 years and a member of the ALC Designation, Chapter Officers, and Strategic Planning Committees. She helped establish a Realtors Land Institute Chapter in Montana in 1996 and served on the Red Lodge MLS Board as Vice President and Secretary for 18 years.
Pat was awarded membership in Omega Tau Rho, the prestigious honorary fraternity for leadership service through the National Association of Realtors in 1992.
